The Gut Health Protocol is designed to take approximately 3 months and is a program specifically designed for you to create a healthy microbiome to encourage the utilization of nutrients and bring balance back to the body utilizing nutrition. This protocol aids in weight loss, hormone balance, mental clarity, and an overall feeling of wellbeing.

Typical results such as an overall feeling of wellness, less bloating, gas and discomfort, are noticed within days though this also depends on your commitment to change and may be affected by how much change your body can tolerate at the beginning of the program.

For weight loss, by following the plan as written, typical results, when included with the exercise program, are about 1-2 pounds per week. This of course varies by individual.

The purpose of the Gut Health Protocol is designed to provide more freedom in your food choices to support your overall wellbeing.

The foods we replace at the beginning of the program which are known to cause issues and may be some of your favorites, don’t have to disappear forever, however, once you notice how good you feel without these triggering foods, you may not want to go back. Additionally, most clients notice that their taste or desire for ‘old foods’ aren’t what they once were after completing the protocol.

Meal plans are designed specifically for your tolerances and preferences while replacing inflammatory or triggering foods. Your meal recommendations will include high protein for each meal focusing on your weight loss goals and gut health. So in short, it depends, however expect whole foods, nothing processed and leaning towards cutting gluten and dairy as likely the most significant changes to start. With the foods I’ll be recommending, you get to choose how they fit into your day. This may also depend on how quickly you wish to reach your goals.

Many menopause symptoms are triggered or exacerbated by foods in our diet, most being those which cause inflammation. By replacing these foods with anti-inflammatory foods many symptoms can be alleviated. This is also true for foods or even environmental factors which can disrupt hormones. In the program we work to introduce more foods known to help with hormonal balance.

Adding in exercise also aids the body in helping to alleviate menopausal symptoms and help harmonize hormones.
